Questions and Answers From the Web Conferences

What is the program cost?
There is no cost to participants for either their web conference attendance or the continuing education credits that are provided to qualified attendees. These CME programs are funded by educational grants which provide for these expenses. We appreciate the support of our educational grant sponsors for making this possible.

Do I need my computer next to a phone for the conference?
Yes, a phone will be needed to hear the audio portion of the web conference. It can either be a land based phone line or a cellular connection. A toll free number will be made available at the time of registration.

Will I be able to ask a question during a live web conference?
Yes, there will be a question and answer session at the end of the faculty presentations. You will be able to type in a question for the presenter to view and provide an appropriate response.

How do I apply for CME/PACE credit once the live web conference is complete?
After participating in the live web conference you will be given the opportunity to apply for continuing education credit(s). When you have successfully filled out the application and course evaluation forms, this information will be forwarded to the appropriate accrediting provider. Please allow 3-4 weeks for this process.

Is there a way to view a conference if I am not available for the live event?
Yes, all web conferences will be archived and available for viewing 2-3 weeks after the live web conference date. You will be able to view the archive program(s) at a time that is convenient for you.

Are CME/PACE credits available for archived programs?
After viewing the archived program you will be able to return to the DNAMEdEdCafe home page where you should click on Continuing Education Credit. This will take you to the webpage where you may select the appropriate program and then enter the application process for continuing education credit. Complete the required online forms, and you will be required to complete an online post test and/or evaluation. Participants must receive a test score of at least 70% and answer all evaluation questions to receive a continuing education certificate. After successfully completing and submitting your application, it will be processed by the appropriate continuing education provider and your certificate will be sent to you. Please allow 3-4 weeks for this process.

If I view an archived web conference will I be able to ask a presenter a question?
Yes, on the DNAMedEdCafé’s home page menu, you will find an link to “contact us”. Click on that link and you will be provided an area to e-mail any questions that you may have. Please allow a few days for a response.
